Nail and Coat Care for Cats
Keep sessions under a few minutes. Forcing a bath usually makes the next one worse.
Brushing
Short coats still shed. Long coats mat behind the ears and on the belly.
Nails
Scratchers reduce the need for trims. If you trim, take only the sharp tip.
Baths
Most indoor cats do not need routine bathing. Ask a veterinarian before bathing a sick cat.
Shop
Brushes and related tools are in Grooming.
Warning
Open wounds, limping after a clip, or sudden bald patches are veterinary problems.
