First-Week Kitten Checklist for Bangladesh Homes
Bringing a kitten home is exciting. This is a household setup guide, not a medical diagnosis.
Safe room
Give the kitten one quiet room for the first days. Hide electrical cords and rubber bands. Keep windows and balcony edges secure.
Food and water
Use a complete kitten food and the feeding table on the pack. Keep fresh water away from the litter box. See current options in Kitten Food.
Litter
Place a low-sided box away from food. Scoop daily. Browse Cat Litter if you still need litter.
Rest and play
Short play sessions with a wand toy, then rest. Kittens sleep a lot.
Veterinary timing
Plan a check-up with a veterinarian for vaccines and deworming. Sudden hiding with no eating, vomiting, or laboured breathing needs same-day help.
Heat
Dhaka rooms can run warm. Offer shade, airflow, and water. Never leave a kitten in a parked car.
